The ICW is under the Supportive Services Programs of the Apache Tribe.
The Apache Tribe of Oklahoma Indian Child Welfare Prevention Program seeks to educate and acknowledge the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect, and share prevention awareness strategies, activities, and promote prevention in communities. The Prevention Program shall provide educational outreach to tribal members and their families. The program assist tribal members and their families with reunification, family support services and family preservation, all working with a goal to protect, promote the safety and well-being of children.
