Every Child Matters Day
![]()
Today, we wear orange to honor the children who never made it home, to remember their stories, and to recognize the strength and resilience of Indigenous families and communities.
Every child matters. Every child deserves to be loved, protected, heard, and given the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.
As a Tribal Nation, we stand together in remembrance, awareness, healing, and hope. We honor our children, those with us today and those we carry forever in our hearts.
Let us continue to teach our children where they come from, strengthen our families, protect our traditions and languages, and create a future where every child knows that they matter, they belong, and they are loved.
Every Child Matters.
Every Child Belongs.
Every Child Deserves to Be Heard.
