Apache Tribal Elections Regulations Excerpt from the Constitution.

The following are excerpts pertaining to the elections only:
ARTICLE V- Regular Elections
SECTION 5. VOTER ELIGIBILITY. To be eligible, voters must be members of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and at least eighteen {18) years of age on the day of the election.
SECTION 6. VOTERS ADDRESS. The responsibility of furnishing current addresses shall be that of the individual voter. All such changes shall be made in writing to the

no later than {10) working days prior to the election date.
SECTION 7. VOTERS LIST DETERMINATIVE. Only those persons whose names appear on the Official Voting List on the day of the election shall be permitted to vote. Other persons not listed may use a challenged ballot to vote.
SECTION 8. IDENTIFICATION. Each voter shall provide a valid identification which is issued either by the Tribe, a state driver’s license or a state identification card.
SECTION 9. DISPUTES AS TO ELIGIBILITY OF VOTERS. Any claim as to the right of a person not listed to vote in a general election must be presented in writing by an eligible voter with the election board no later than five (5) days prior to the day of the election. The Election Board shall meet no later than three {3) days prior to the election to determine whether the complainant should be placed on the voter list.
